Senior Xactimate Estimator & Trainer

At LRE, we provide 24/7 emergency mitigation services for flood dry outs, fire and/or smoke cleaning, and mold remediation. This position is for a SENIOR estimator with multiple years of restoration estimating experience -- to include large loss claims. Duties also include site visits and meetings with customers or adjusters, writing Xactimate reports for billing purposes, Xactanalysis support, training of current estimators as well as other documentation. Knowledge of Simbility and Dash is a plus!

This is primarily an office-based job, with some travel required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team-based achievement culture.

Insurance adjusting experience is also preferable.

Large loss restoration claims experience is required (i.e., fire, smoke, mold, wind, and water damage)

Ability to multitask and keep organized under pressure.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and mitigation/remediation technical teams.

Strong computer skills, including ability to use tablets, Excel and job management software.

Xactimate: 3+ years and active Level 1 certificate required

Level 2+ certification and training experience in Xactimate preferred

IICRC, WTR, AMRT, FSRT, and/or ASD certifications/licenses are preferable.

Institute best practices and following all IICRC S500 and S520 guidelines.

Clean background, clean driving record, and clean drug screening required

Ability to travel within service area with little advanced notice.

DUTIES:

Accurately sketch affected area of a home and generate estimates using Xactimate software.

Ability to write emergency (EMS) claim estimates as well as structural restoration claims estimates

Respond to emergency services (mold remediation, water mitigation, fire and smoke restoration) both during and after normal business hours.

Contact customers via phone and email.

Communicate face to face with customers and provide them with information regarding progress of their claim. Occasionally assist in physical labor required in mitigation efforts.

Writing 5 to 10 estimates weekly, dependent on size and scope

Submit documents to insurance carriers and enter notes in company CRMs and various portals

Weekly meetings with management to track progress and efficiency

Continuous training of the current estimators on staff

Monitor return correspondence from carriers
